Change of Address Form

If you have moved, or will be moving, you will need to notify the local of your new address. Please do so by fillling in the Change of Address Form (DOC) and submit via fax or email.

Beneficiary Changes

Beneficiary changes cannot be done over the telephone. The following documents (in .pdf format) must be completed in order to process a beneficiary designation or change. Once completed they must be returned for processing to: Local 7, 2100 Thurston Drive, Unit 3, Ottawa, ON K1G 4K8.

Medical/Dental Claim Forms

Electronic versions of the medical and dental forms are available below in .pdf format. Dental claims can now be e-mailed directly from your dentist to our Adminstrator, Lee-Power Associates. For information on our Administrator, visit Lee-Power & Associates.

Scholarship Program

The International Union’s Canadian Bates Scholarship program is administered by Universities Canada, located in Ottawa, Ontario. Three students are selected annually to receive a stipend of either $1500 CDN or $1200 CDN per year for up to four consecutive years providing the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.

To be considered for the 2017 Canadian Bates Scholarship, a student must be the son or daughter of a Canadian BAC member in good standing of a Canadian BAC Local, and a graduating high school senior who plans to attend college in the fall of 2017.

Always remember – your safety is your responsibility! It is up to you to ensure that you are wearing proper equipment at all times, i.e., hard hat, safety boots, safety glasses, proper masks, respirators and harnesses where required.

Local 7 encourages all apprentices to register for, and complete the Brick and Stone Apprenticeship Program. This is an accredited program. The program is currently three levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced.
